Monthly Roundup: February 2012

I am so glad I came up with this monthly posting. The last topic I posted was about Valentine's Day and look at the date, it's already the first day of a new month! Well, my dear lappy's charger had gone AWOL since last week after it's crazy acts of going on and off during the previous days. So, I guess that could be enough reason why I haven't updated this blog. But I already bought a replacement plus a new pink mouse! Yay for me! Too bad I forgot to buy new set of blank digital media (CDs and DVDs) that I will need in backing up my files this month.

Anyhoo, let me share some updates about me and my family after that V-day. Everybody in our country could feel the SUMMER coming in. And yes, my family started our summer escapade by checking in at Island Cove in Cavite together with hubby's siblings and their family. It was an overnight stay and the kids almost got toasted since they don't want to leave the pool despite of the scorching heat. It was a great family bonding especially on hubby's part.

Although we started February with a little bit of unfortunate event, it served as a blessing in disguise. There's more peace, love and prosperity around our home now and I thank God for it. By the way, we had another family bonding just last Sunday and it was a sumptuous lunch out.

My kids also did great this month. My eldest son was hailed again as Top 2 in their class and they just had their 16th Foundation Day.

My second daughter is doing great during their exams as per her teacher and they also had their graduation pictures taken. I curled her hair this time and put on a little make up and here's her picture together with her little sis who begged to have a little make up as well.

Graduation is almost near and hubby and I are both praying for our preschoolers to receive honors and medals just like last year. My youngest daughter is growing fast as well and I am enjoying every minute I spend with her. I love how she calls me "Nanay" instead of Mommy sometimes.. I find it sweet and cute:) She religiously say thank you, welcome, excuse me and sorry whenever she feels to say those words (thank you Barney and Elmo!)

In terms of financial aspect, I am glad that I started the month with additional online gigs. Just in time to pay my monthly credit card bills. Oh and yesterday, I was invited by dear hubby to have dinner at Robinsons Metro East after office hours. We just strolled around, look for new jeans and polo for him, but he found nothing that he fancy so we ate after that. I was craving for KFC chicken so even though he wanted to eat at Max's or Pancake House, he gave way for me:) It was a bliss, spending that few hours alone with him.. we took a cab as we were both eager to see the kids.
