Little Japanese Geisha for UN Celebration 2011

I was thankful enough that Erin felt better upon treating her for an ice cream after her "dance mishap". She was back on her feet again when I did her make up and looked quite adorable on her Japanese Geisha look. Hubby and I kept on asking her if she could walk on the stage again especially on her Japanese slippers. She said she's okay and asked to join her best friend Tata as they wait for their turn.

The "fashion show" went well and even her teacher was all eyes on her when she walked on the center of the stage. She walked gracefully just as what she and the rest of her classmates rehearsed complete with hand waves and bows.

The event ended and even though she didn't won, hub and I felt good that she was still able to wear and show off her Japanese Geisha look. And just as we promised her, we treated her to Jollibee for her favorite chicken joy and french fries and was thoughtful enough to remember her little sis and big bro so we also bought something for them in take out boxes. Plus, I bought her a new set of eye shadow play set which we saw the last time we went out. As of this writing, she got over that moment and was witty enough to answer those who asked her about what happened to her giving them no satisfaction of her feeling sorry for herself.
